At Keizer Poodles and Doodles we are passionate about poodles. They are part of our family and we love helping people find the perfect pup for theirs. Find out more about us and our girls below.
A Bit of Background
We are a small, home-based breeder. We have been obsessing over poodles since 2014, when we adopted our first puppy.
We have five children who are an active part of our breeding business. They help handle, feed, and clean the puppies and their living quarters. Our poodles all live with us. We do not own any males, and studs are hired.
We use Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) daily with the puppies starting at three days old. These daily exercises kick start their neurological system and improve their natural abilities. We do this until 16 days old and then we move on to other handling exercises. We also start grooming puppies at three weeks old. This desensitizes them and helps them be acclimated to grooming. Our grooming process includes a bath and blow dry, followed by shaving their faces and feet as well as the anal area. We also clip their nails and clean the inside of their ears. If our clients continue regular grooming, their puppy will have excellent grooming manners!
Guiding Mission
At Keizer Poodles and Doodles, we continue to care about our animals long after they leave us. As such, it’s our strict policy to only sell to individuals; we will never sell to pet shops or brokers.
